The song was first written and composed using a found 4-string classical guitar in 1990 during the height of the first Gulf War and re-recorded (with a normal folk guitar) in 2023. The song has not been mastered. There are minimal FX added (some echo in select places). The intro audio sample is excerpted from the soundtrack of' Time Reflection Symmetry' (originally for an installation video of the same name) composed by Jeff Galvala and M. A. R. in 1996.
